((Yeah I know this is in hidden pack terra, but you're going to be talking from across the river and what not, so it doesn't matter much.))

The she-wolf took one last glance at her pack, eyes turning to pale slits of hatred. She flicked back her ears and lashed her tail in rage at they're stupidity and impudence, vowing one day they shall pay. Delaney shook her glossy black coat irritably and loped off, disappearing in silence.

She knew where she would go, the Weeping Waters. It was a nice place to collect her thoughts and calm her anger. Delaney lifted her snout to smell the crisp winter air, her paws sinking into the snow. The femme gazed at the particles of white, wishing she could look closer, see the complex matrix of life, but a wolf does not have the kind of power, only man. Delaney looked up at the sky knowingly. Man, the greatest legend of all. She had never actually seen them before, but they were said to be the most powerful beings on earth.

The she-wolf continued through the snow, crossing the great meadow, a black speck on an endless see of white. She traveled swiftly as anger started to build up again. Delaney entered as small cops of willow trees, threading her way through the undergrowth until she cam to a halt at a bubbling stream.

She sighed and relaxed instantly, panting from the long run, her coat steaming in the cold. Delaney inspected the area, making sure she was completely alone. Yes... silence. The she-wolf smiled grimly and stepped to wards the shore of the river, hearing it flow underneath the thin layer of ice. She broke the surface with a touch of her paw, and then lowered her fine head to take a drink. Suddenly, Delaney hesitated, her ears pricked and her senses tingling.

"Who goes there? Show yourself!" Delaney snarled boldly, drawing up to her full height and baring her teeth.

Asyra padded along aimlessly. There was nothing to do these days. Hunting patrols were always large, and she wasn't needed, and someone was always busy, napping. She hated when things were slow like this. Maybe something would happen soon. Hopefully, anyway.

Asyra's dainty paws trotted over fresh snow pleasantly. She enjoyed walks like this.They were quiet, peaceful,yet today,something felt different. Was someone here? No, she couldn't smell anything yet. Asyra figured if she hung out by the river for a while, some one would show up. So Asyra padded onwards, and anticipated something, just, anything to happen.

Finally, there was some one else here. Asyra straightened up her posture, and held her tail high. It was Asyra's "never swallow your pride" 'tude, that made her make this mistake. Asyra walked out into the open so the other wolf could see her, but when she saw the black wolf, her heart skipped a beat, but she didn't flinch.

This was the infamous Delaney, Omega of the Drifting. Asyra was a beta, with this proud stance she was sure to get a beating. "Asyra, Beta of the Silent Pack." She announced. Her voice was strong, but her amber eyes flickered nervously. Though only an Omega, Delaney was supposed to have an Alpha attitude.

((lol Delaney's not the alpha luff. But her evilness could make a wolf feel nervous anyways so it doesn't really matter yet, and she is infamous. ))

Delaney gazed across the river, pale orbs bearing into the other she-wolf's, holding no emotion whatsoever, but yet still having the infamous delusion she was known for. The femme's notoriously beautiful black coat also had another use. Soon she was melting in and out of the shadows, until suddenly she appeared face to face with Asyra, only seperated by the 10 foot stretch of water.

"Delaney, Omega of the Hidden Pack." Delaney barked harshly, her voice faultering when she said her rank, the lowest of the low. Just swallow your pride and bear it. She knew that she should probably lower herself to the ground slightly, or maybe show some signs of submission, yet she did not feel inclined to do so. After all, this was only one wolf, and she had the cunning of a natural born murderer in her veins.

Delaney gazed directly back at the she-wolf, daringly making eye contact, waiting for a challenge. The femme was a formidable sight, her lean muscle peeking out from under the glossy black coat, canines bared to reveal teeth as white as her eyes. She raised her tail in askance, pushing her ears as high as they would go, knowing she was breaking the law by showing such dominance, yet refusing to back down in her rage.

Asyra bared her teeth back dangerously. "Oh, what, you think I am scared of the big, bad, omega?" She asked, emphasizing every word, a challenge to the lesser ranked femme. Asyra knew if there wasn't a 10 foot gap between the two, she would be mauled by this viscous wolf. And in all honest, Asyra was quite frightened, to be looking into those white, fiery eyes. They were burning into her own amber ones. Asyra puffed out her chest, and pushed forward her ears, holding her tail high.

The only was to not be murdered was to try to scare off Delaney, or try to talk to her, about something. But what could you talk to Delaney about? "So, Delaney, how have you been, eating any elders lately?". Not Going to happen. Maybe she could distract the Wolf. Hey. look, your alpha!" She would just run off while Delaney looked the other way. But it seemed that her only option was to fight. Hopefully Delaney would have a change in heart, but, that would never happen.

Asyra stepped forward boldly. Her teeth were still bared. "Don't play me, Delaney, I could rip your omega to shred.." She growled, in a low, dangerous voice. She tried to look angry, try to light her eyes on fire, but she was to scared to yo look that evil. Asyra took another step forward, and was directly on the edge of the bank, and her toes were touching the ice. Asyra tried to concentrate all of her anger in this stare, but snow was beginning to fall in tiny particles, and falling lightly through her gaze. It was no snowstorm of any amount, just a few snowflakes, but Asyra was distracted far to easily..

Delaney stalked back and forth along her side of the river, constantly dissapearing and reappearing, her eyes always staring straight forward at the other she-wolf. She laughed to herself at the she-wolf's fake stance and let her ears go down and her tail lay flat in a relaxed posture. Foolish she-wolf. One day her pride will get her killed.

"Peace, Asyra. Swallow your pride. You're are frightened, don't try to act differently," The she-wolf growled softly, a strange far away look of sadness coming into her gaze. Delaney looked away, flicking her ears nervously at remembering her past, before gazing back up at the beta.

She glanced up at the pale blue sky, letting the snowflakes clense her of her history, licking them with her tongue. The she-wolf let out a lonesome howl, it was long, low and sad, filled with grief and longing. Delaney let a slight smile come onto her maw and turned back to Asyra, black coat now dotted with white.

"You may ask any questions that you like. I know there are myths and legends about me." She snorted lightly at the though and continued, "I know you must be curious yourself also, about which are true and which are fake."

Asyra felt safer, but was still tense, this wolf was surely unpredictable. The colorful wolf tilted her head, obviously confused. "Really?", she asked nervously. Asyra could have sworn she saw Delaney nod, but she was psyching out right now. It was probably just her imagination.

"Um.." Her voice was faltering, right now Delaney wasn't acting like the big bad wolf everyone was perceiving her to be, or was it just Asyra's light heart not judging the black wolf. She wasn't really sure, nor did she know what to believe. She had always wondered one thing about Delaney though,was it true about her being kicked out of her sisters pack, then she went to join her father's? Maybe, maybe not, apparently this was the time to ask.

Asyra sat down uncomfortably, and shifted her paws back and forth as Delaney paced on the other side of the river. How was it that a wolf with such a bad reputation just ended a fight like that? They were both on edge, and prepared to leap over the river at each other, and now they were talking about Delaney's past? How bizarre. To Shallow minded Asyra this was all so confusing.

"Well, is it true that your sister kicked you out of her pack, and you joined your fathers?" She asked wearily. Perhaps this was a touchy subject, or perhaps Delaney was just toying with Asyra? Perhaps Asyra was just thinking to hard...

((Wow, do you belong to the academy? I do too. Weird, huh?))

A small wolf padded slowly through the snow, watching the prints her paws made in the white powder. Her thick silver pelt would repel most of the falling snow, but she knew that eventually she would be cold and wet. She scowled at the thought. The wolf began to move faster, kicking up snow with every motion of her powerful legs. Muscle rippled under her gleaming coat as she ran, eventually coming to a stop by the weeping waters. She saw the onyx pelt of her omega, Delaney. Delany seemed immersed in a conversation with Asyra, beta female of the silent pack.

"What you doing over here Delaney?" She asked in a rough accent. Her voice matched her accent, and sounded almost like that of a male's. This small she-wolf was none other than Kearai, Alpha female of hidden pack.

Delaney dipped her head respectfully at her alpha. She smiled and trotted up to meet her, tail low and ears back. The she-wolf's dangerous muscle glistened under her pelt, if she was not so despised she would definitely hold a high position within the pack. Though she seemed friendly, there was absolute hatred burning in the omega's eyes.

"I came to relax and think my thoughts through, seeing that the pack probably would not need me on the hunt, as I have hardly a right to the kill anyways, being the omega that I am." The she-wolf's gaze flickered back to the beta, "And then she came and we were having a little chat," Delaney finished.

"And to answer your question Asyra, yes, my own half-sister kicked me out of her pack when she became alpha. The other wolves were happy to oblige, seeing how strange I was... and I had no where to go... so I came to my father's pack." She a distant look once more, but it diminshed quickly, replaced by loathing for her half-sister, Svana.

Arno watched as she ran away and before she ran completely away he said, "Where are you running Delaney?" He hoped she heard him. He didn't want her to leave.
